Annex to ED Decision 2022-006-R eControl content update now available

 

With the implementation of ED Decision 2022/006/R aims to maintain a high and uniform level of safety in terms of aerodrome design.The main changes concern:

the standardised naming of taxiways; 
location of holding bays, runway-holding positions, intermediate holding positions and road-holding positions; runway guard lights, no-entry bar, information signs.

The complete ED Decision 2022-006-R is now available as a content update for the eControl compliance management module.

eControl not affected by Log4J vulnerability

 

We hereby inform our customers that eControl and its services do not contain any Java application components and are therefore not affected by the Log4J vulnerability.

New implementation of the SNOWTAM

 

In accordance with EUR DOC 041, the previous SNOWTAM form has been adopted to comply with the most recent ICAO requirements. As of now the SNOWTAM form has just had an informational purpose within econtrol. With the new change, the form now has also become available for mobile data entry within the eControl mobile Windows table application. The new SNOWTAM form comes as a one time purchase addon for the current installation.

New EASA regulatory changes fully implemented within the eControl compliance management 02

 

Eversince the implementation of the Annex to ED Decision 2019/012/R there have been changes being released by EASA, which by now have been fully implemented within the eControl compliance management module.

Annex to ED Decision 2021/003/R
‘AMC & GM to Authority, Organisation and Operations Requirements for Aerodromes — Issue 1, Amendment 5’
Release March, 4th 2021
, focuses on the mitigation of the safety risks associated with runway safety, from an aerodrome’s perspective. Featuring more than 300 changes, as well as more than 200 new regulations, this is one of the more complex recent releases of EASA in the past years.

CS-ADR-DSN Issue 5
Released March, 4th 2021, this change contains corrections to runway safety certification specifications.

These new changes are available now for implementation in eControl aviation compliance managment upon request.}

Eversince the implementation of the Annex to ED Decision 2019/012/R there have been changes being released by EASA, which by now have been fully implemented within the eControl compliance management module.

Annex to ED Decision 2020/009/R
‘Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) to Authority, Organisation and Operations Requirements for Aerodromes — Issue 1, Amendment 3’

Released July, 15th 2020, this amendment features many changes to the RFFS GM and AMC documentation.

Annex to ED Decision 2020/021/R
Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) to Authority, Organisation and Operations Requirements for Aerodromes —
Issue 1, Amendment 4’

Released December, 15th 2020, this amendment has a strong focus on safety and training and qualification managment - two areas which can be fully covered by the corresponding eControl modules SMS and TQMS.

These new changes are available now for implementation in eControl aviation compliance managment upon request.
